These terms apply whenever you visit uldira.com or order from Uldira. Please take a few minutes to read them before you buy.

Who runs this shop

Uldira sells beauty tools and vanity accessories online at uldira.com. The shop belongs to and is operated by CARFORD DEVELOPMENT LIMITED, Business Registration No. 16160923, with its registered office at Room C, 5/F, European Asian Bank Building, 749 Nathan Road, Yau Tsim Mong District, Hong Kong. When these terms say "we", "us" or "our", they mean that company. "You" means anyone who browses the site or places an order.

By using the site or completing a purchase, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not order from us.

Age and capacity

To buy from us you must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, and legally able to enter into a contract. An adult may order for a younger person and takes responsibility for that order and for how the products are used.

Your account

You can check out as a guest. If you create an account, keep your login private and your details accurate. Tell us at support@uldira.com as soon as possible if you suspect someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your login, except where it results from our own failure.

What we sell

Our range covers makeup brushes and sponges, LED mirrors, precision tools such as tweezers, nail tools and a heated eyelash curler, hair and sleep accessories, rose quartz massage tools, storage and spa textiles. Every product page lists materials, sizes, what comes in the box and how to look after it.

Photos and colour

We photograph our products carefully, but screens differ and colours may look slightly different in person. Rose quartz is a natural stone, so the tone and markings of each piece vary. Silk, terry and acetate can show small variations in sheen or shade between batches. None of this counts as a fault.

Using electrical items safely

Our LED mirrors and heated eyelash curler run on rechargeable batteries. Follow the instructions in the box and on the product page. Charge them with a suitable USB-C cable and adaptor, keep them away from water, and do not open or modify them. Keep the heated curler away from your eyes and skin, and out of the reach of children.

Tools, not treatments

Our products are tools and accessories for everyday grooming and self-care. They are not medical devices, and nothing on this site is medical advice. If you have a skin, eye or scalp condition, ask a doctor before using a new tool on that area.

Prices and taxes

Prices are shown in US dollars and cover the item only. Shipping and any applicable sales tax are added at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but never for an order we have already accepted. If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

How a sale is made

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it, and a contract is formed, when we send an email confirming that your order has shipped. Until then we may decline or cancel an order, for example if stock runs out, payment cannot be confirmed, the address is outside the areas we ship to, or the order looks fraudulent. If we cancel, we refund everything you paid.

Payment

Payments are processed at checkout by Shopify and its payment processor. You confirm that you are allowed to use the payment method you choose. We never receive your full card number. More detail is on our Payment & Security page.

Shipping and when risk passes

We currently ship to the United States, Canada and Australia. Rates and delivery times are set out in our Shipping Policy. Delivery times are estimates. Responsibility for the parcel passes to you when the carrier delivers it to the address you gave. Please check that address carefully before paying.

Returns

You may return unused items within 30 days of delivery, including when you have simply changed your mind. Our Return & Refund Policy explains the steps and forms part of these terms.

Our content and our name

Everything on this site, including the photographs, text, packaging designs, graphics and layout, belongs to CARFORD DEVELOPMENT LIMITED or is used under licence, and is protected by copyright and other laws. Buying a product does not give you any right to reuse our content.

Uldira is a trademark owned and operated by CARFORD DEVELOPMENT LIMITED. You may not use the Uldira name, wordmark, arch motif or packaging design without our written permission.

Things you must not do

• Break the law, or help anyone else to, through the site.
• Use bots, scrapers or similar tools to copy content or data from the site.
• Interfere with the site's security or performance, or upload malicious code.
• Use a payment method you are not authorised to use.
• Resell our products commercially without a written agreement with us.
• Submit reviews or messages that are false, offensive or infringe other people's rights.

We may suspend access and cancel orders linked to any of the above.

Other websites

Links to third-party sites, such as a carrier's tracking page, are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.

Disclaimer

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. Except for the promises made in these terms and the rights you have under consumer law, the site is provided "as is". Nothing in these terms takes away rights that the law where you live does not allow us to exclude.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as loss of profit, loss of data or loss that could not reasonably have been foreseen when you ordered. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order. This does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

If your breach of these terms or of the law leads to a claim against us, you agree to compensate us for the reasonable losses and costs that follow, including reasonable legal fees.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, and its courts may hear any dispute about them. If you buy as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the place where you live and may be able to bring proceedings there.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time, and the date at the top shows when they last changed. The version on the site when you placed your order is the one that applies to it.

The whole agreement

These terms and the policies linked from them make up the full agreement between you and us about the site and your purchases. If a court finds any part unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Choosing not to enforce a right once does not mean we have given it up.
