Well-kept tools last for years and work better. Here is how to clean, charge and store each part of the Uldira range.

Cleaning and care, product by product
| Makeup brushes | Wash face brushes weekly and eye brushes every few uses. Wet the bristles, pointing down, swirl them over the cleaning mat with a drop of mild soap, rinse until the water runs clear, reshape, and dry flat or bristles down. Keep water out of the ferrule. |

| Blending sponges | Wash after each use with mild soap, rinse well and let them air-dry in the open, not in a closed bag. Replace every two to three months. |
| Silicone cleaning mat | Rinse after use and dry. It can go on the top rack of the dishwasher. |
| LED mirrors | Charge with the USB-C cable and a standard USB adaptor. Wipe the glass with a dry microfibre cloth. Keep away from water and do not spray liquids on them. |
| Heated eyelash curler | Charge by USB-C. Let the head cool before wiping it with a dry cloth and putting the cap back on. Keep it away from your eyes and skin and out of reach of children. |
| Tweezers and nail tools | Wipe with rubbing alcohol after use, dry completely and store in their case so the tips stay aligned. |
| Glass nail files | Rinse under the tap and dry. Keep in the sleeve, as glass can break if dropped. |
| Silk scrunchies and pillowcases | Hand wash or machine wash cold on a delicate cycle in a mesh bag, with a mild detergent and no bleach or fabric softener. Dry flat or on a line in the shade, and iron on a low silk setting if needed. |
| Wide-tooth comb | Rinse in warm, not hot, water and dry. Keep it away from heat tools. |
| Boar bristle hair brush | Pull hair out with the cleaning tool. Now and then, wash the bristles in lukewarm soapy water and dry with the bristles facing down. Do not soak the wood. |
| Gua sha and facial roller | Wash with mild soap and water and dry. Do not soak the roller's metal frame. Store them where they will not be knocked, as stone can chip. |
| Acrylic organiser and ceramic brush holder | Clean the organiser with a soft cloth and mild soapy water, never with alcohol or abrasive cleaners. Hand wash the brush holder. |
| Headbands, spa wrap and cosmetic bag | Machine wash the headbands and wrap warm with similar colours and tumble dry low, with the wrap's strip fastened. Wipe the cosmetic bag's lining with a damp cloth. |
Charging and batteries
- Our mirrors and heated eyelash curler use small rechargeable lithium-ion batteries and charge by USB-C.
- Use the cable supplied and a standard USB adaptor. Do not leave them charging on soft furnishings or in direct sun.
- If a device gets unusually hot, swells or stops charging, stop using it and email us.
- Do not open the devices or put them in water. Recycle them at an electronics collection point at the end of their life, not in household waste.

- Brushes: synthetic PBT fibre, lacquered birch handles and aluminium ferrules.
- Sponges: latex-free polyurethane foam.
- Hair brush: boar bristle mixed with nylon, in a beechwood body.
- Silk: 22 momme mulberry silk.
- Massage tools: natural rose quartz; the roller frame is zinc alloy.
- Metal tools: stainless steel.
A few sensible precautions
- Do not share brushes, sponges or tweezers with others.
- Use massage tools gently, on clean skin, and avoid broken or irritated areas and the eyes.
- Keep the heated curler, small parts and glass files out of reach of children.
- If you have a skin, eye or scalp condition, ask your doctor before using a new tool on that area.
